Summary

Compose omitted the cheat marker when a command had no variables. Always emit the marker so the generated snippet remains executable when require_cheat_block is enabled.

Verification

A regression test parses composed output. Checks through the built CLI cover compose, headless print and lint.

Local checks passed on Go 1.27.1. The CI workflow uses Go 1.26.3.

  • gofmt -l . and go vet ./... are clean
  • Added regression tests for the changed behavior
  • cheatmd --lint examples/ passes
  • Docs/wiki changes are not needed for this fix
