When creators compare their own content with reference accounts, the hard part is not collecting inspiration. The hard part is deciding:
- which ideas fit my account mainline
- which reference samples are only signals
- which ideas are worth publishing next
- which ideas should be ignored for now
- what concrete next action should happen after the topic list
This Skill helps an Agent turn content A plus reference sample B into a topic radar that keeps the creator's own direction at the center.
- read a creator's own content archive or topic notes
- read user-provided reference samples
- identify content mainline and gaps
- generate 10-20 topic candidates
- select 3-5 priority topics
- explain which topics come from owned assets and which come from reference signals
- mark topics that are not suitable now
- suggest the next action: write title, gather example, make cover, outline post, or review old content
This Skill is useful for:
- Xiaohongshu / RedNote creators planning the next week of content
- newsletter writers comparing their archive with market signals
- indie builders looking for Build in Public topics
- educators or consultants turning past materials into public topics
- social media operators who want a repeatable topic planning workflow
You can provide:
- your own past content: titles, summaries, links, dates, performance notes
- reference creator samples: links, titles, screenshots, summaries, or notes
- current account goal
- target platform
- time range: next 5 days, next week, next month
- audience or positioning
- topics you want to avoid
The Skill works best when your own content is included. If only reference samples are provided, it should say that the output is a first-pass topic pool, not an account-fit plan.
Default output:
- Planning scope
- Owned-content signal summary
- Reference signal summary
- Topic candidates
- Priority topics
- Topics to avoid for now
- Platform fit
- Next action list
- Public boundary reminder
Use $benchmark-topic-radar to turn my past 12 posts and these reference samples into next week's topic list.

The Skill should never ask the user to reproduce another creator's title, structure, image, or story. It should translate observations into account-fit topic directions.
