Description

Improved the Django message notifications by adding automatic dismissal with a smooth transition.

Changes

  • Added automatic dismissal of Django messages after 3 seconds.
  • Added a smooth fade-out and upward slide transition.
  • Kept the manual close (×) button functionality.
  • Applied the behavior to all Django messages.

Result

Success, error, warning, and info messages now disappear automatically after a few seconds instead of requiring the user to close them manually.

Before vs. After

Before:
The notification remained visible until the user manually clicked the close (×) button.

After:
The notification automatically disappears after 3 seconds with a smooth fade-out and upward slide transition.

Summary

  • Enabled Google OAuth sign-in and sign-up through django-allauth.
  • Added Google login options to the login and signup pages.
  • Added PyJWT and enabled Poetry virtual environment creation.
  • Added automatic Django message dismissal after three seconds with a fade-out and upward slide.
  • Preserved the manual close button for success, error, warning, and info messages.

These changes improve authentication options and reduce persistent message clutter.
