Cited pages that are gone (404, 410, or a host that no longer answers) point to a Wayback Machine copy of the cited page, in the web.archive.org form the book already uses. Links to the renamed WordPress/book repo and the old plugins.lists.wordpress.org host point to their live locations.

web.archive.org/web/<timestamp>/<original URL>form the book already uses. Where several copies existed, I took the one closest to the volume's original edition (2015 or 2023) that shows the cited page. I checked each snapshot's title or content to rule out parked domains and error pages.Three links point to live pages instead: the vol. 1
Formatsfolder and the Crazyhorse usability report, both moved by the WordPress/book → WordPress/library rename, and a wp-hackers message now served from lists.wordpress.org.Left unchanged: three links that answer 503 or 500 (money.cnn.com, shop.fsf.org, trippinwithstanley.com), which may be temporary, and six with no archived copy anywhere (removed forum threads, make.wordpress.org/core/page/121, wphub.com).
python3 bin/check-manifest.pypasses.AI assistance: Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5) found the dead links and their archived copies; I reviewed and verified every change.
