Vision-Swarm-GCS is a modern, Python-based open-source Ground Control Station (GCS) designed for next-generation autonomous drone operations. It empowers developers and researchers to easily manage multiple drones (swarms) while integrating real-time computer vision capabilities for intelligent tasks. Built with simplicity and extensibility in mind, it provides a user-friendly interface to orchestrate complex missions without sacrificing power.
✨ Key Features
· 🧠 Multi-Vehicle Swarm Management: Monitor and control a fleet of drones from a single interface. Plan swarm missions, manage formations, and view live telemetry for all connected vehicles. · 👁️ Integrated Computer Vision: Leverage OpenCV and modern ML libraries (like YOLO, TensorFlow Lite) for real-time object detection, tracking, and automated decision-making directly from drone video streams. · 🐍 Python-Powered & Easy to Extend: Written entirely in Python, making it highly accessible for rapid prototyping, customization, and integration with the vast Python data science/AI ecosystem (NumPy, PyTorch, etc.). · 🎯 Intuitive GUI: Features a clean, user-friendly interface built with PyQt/PySide or Tkinter (based on your implementation), suitable for both beginners and experts. · 🤝 MAVLink Compatible: Communicates seamlessly with PX4 and ArduPilot autopilots via the pymavlink library. Supports both simulated (SITL) and real drones.
