Before we begin, I need to give a slew of well deserved shout outs.
So, in no particular order:

TJ, my battle brother. Thank you for all you did on this map. My only wish is to reach out more and hit the dark streets with a pair of NVGs and turning them red.

Mono, my bodacious and caring deer friend. You're a real buck, and you've gored me with your friendship horns. (that was so fucking gay but ily fr). You did solid work, and I appreciate you bigly.

Egdy, you litter-breathed son of a bitch. No but for real, thank you dude. You helped out more than you know.

Rose, or better known as... TRUMPETS BLOWING DOG MOM, MASTER ENGINEER, WARRIOR PRINCESS, LEADER OF THE MACHINES, DIVINE HOWLER. You went and did some serious work

CatgirlNews. Firstly you get a special little greggy kiss for motivating me to come back to this. I was in my Darkest Hour, but now we're in our 'We're so Back' arc.

For real though, you did such excellent work that I need to get on my hands and knees, do a handstand and then spin on the top of my head in a circle until I drill into the floor. Your help seriously kept me in the game for this long. I'm bringing Gary back from the dead just for your work.

Fox, my freaky Swiss friend. You and I may have never agreed on mapping ideas all the time, or how many showers is too many for me, but I want you to know that I love you with all my heart because I see the shape of your soul and I think it's a beautiful soul. I want nothing but the best for you, in life and in unlife (Swiss people all turn into Vampires btw, lore drop).

Void, you're my banging bro and you've been keeping me sane for months now when I needed it most. Thank you, truly. Words can't express how quickly you've become my friend.

To speak from the heart briefly,
I would not be back here if it were not for my friends. I had a period where I did not feel comfortable playing here, and because of my friends that is not the case any longer.

I love Den, I love my friends and I'm very happy with new Tortuga.
We will be eventually be renovating the rest of the map and doing quality updates as time goes, but this was on the back log for far too long and we're very excited and ready to get this out there.

About the PR

Epistemics, Logistics, Medical, Security, Service, and other various areas have been totally gutted and fully replaced.

Including but not limited to:
Botany, Kitchen, Court, NTR Office, Bridge/Captain's Quarter area, Epistemics, Medical, Dorms, Maints around Security, Security, Service areas, Bar, Boxer's Room, Psych, Logistics, Maints around Logi, Beach Area and various small things I can't recall off the top of my head.

Why / Balance

As much as old Tortuga truly was and still is a flagship model of a Station Design that has stood the test of time, but sadly it has shown it's age and we're not into GILFs.
Outdated departments, Item Prototypes, Departments designed in a way that do not fit with the general vibe of Den and various other issues, have all led to the initial progress to gut and re-do departments.
As to the best of my knowledge, we have permission to continue using this map after rebase. As such, doing my limited doggy brain math, we will have SIX maps when we Rebase.
Gravel, Manta, Baikal, Tortuga, Dingo, and Port Acrux.

Media

This is not everything. But given this is my third time typing, posting pictures and taking said pictures for this PR, I am at my wit's end.
