Requirements

• Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or Windows 7/8/8.1 with updates
• Folder Lock (v7.0 or higher) — any edition (Standard/Premium)
• 4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended for large lockers)
• 100MB available disk space (expands with locker sizes)
• Administrator privileges (for advanced protection features)

Usage

For Folder Protection:

1. Launch Folder Lock and navigate to Protect Folders.
2. Load the folder protection profile via Settings → Load Profile.
3. Select the folder you want to protect.
4. Choose the appropriate password and encryption level.
5. Click Lock to apply protection to the selected folder.

For Creating Encrypted Lockers:

1. Open Folder Lock and go to Encrypt → Create Locker.
2. Load the locker template profile from the collection.
3. Specify the locker size and location.
4. Select the encryption algorithm and password strength.
5. Create the locker and add files for protection.

For File Shredding:

1. Navigate to Shredder in Folder Lock.
2. Load the shredding profile with optimized settings.
3. Select files or folders you want to securely delete.
4. Choose shredding level (overwrite passes).
5. Click Shred to permanently remove the files.

For Secure Backups:

1. Load the backup encryption profile via Backup → Load Profile.
2. Select files or folders for encrypted backup.
3. Choose destination drive and encryption settings.
4. Configure backup schedule using the provided scripts.
5. Execute the backup and verify encrypted archive.

For Automation:

1. Open the scripts folder and review available automation scripts.
2. Edit the scripts to specify folders, passwords, and paths.
3. Run scripts manually or via Task Scheduler.
4. Use the locker_mount.cmd script for quick locker access.
5. Monitor operations through generated logs.
