ReSite - KFUPMxGoogle Cloud 'Intelligent Planet' Hackathon 2025

Project

• ReSite is a circular economy platform prototype that connects construction sites with surplus materials in Saudi Arabia to local sites that can reuse them, optimised for sustainability, explainability, and user satisfaction.

• Prototype built over 4 weeks for the KFUPM x Google Cloud 'Intelligent Planet' hackathon.

• Stack: React + TypeScript, Firebase (Auth + Firestore), Supabase (PostgreSQL), BigQuery, GCP (Maps APIs (6 assosciated APIs), BigQuery, Looker Studio, Vertex AI)

• Ranked in top 10% of submissions globally + commended by KAUST, KFUPM, and Google Cloud mentors.
