Align the MCP App example's
@rstest/coreand@rstest/browserat 0.12.2 so browser startup can importCompileFailedError. Remove its unused@rstest/playwrightdependency, allow Rstest 0.12 through the public optional peer, and document support in both locales. Include one patch changeset.Fix the packed harness to recognize signal-terminated children, apply the shared shutdown time scale, and observe reconnect response failures promptly. A real-process regression fails against the original helper and passes with the fix.
Verification on a branch containing current
origin/main:pnpm build,pnpm typecheck,pnpm lint,pnpm test:unit: passed (4,308 passed, 6 skipped). Final follow-up build, typecheck, lint, and bounded unit checks also passed (4,308 passed, 6 skipped).pnpm test:integration: passed (1,164 passed, 4 skipped).pnpm docs:site:build: passed, including language parity and 34,853 links with no broken links.test:browser-app: passed (14 tests).AGENT_BUNDLE_TEST_TIME_SCALE=4 pnpm test:packed --pool.maxWorkers 4: passed after the harness fix (47 passed, 1 skipped, 16 files).Independent review covered dependency resolution, the retained Rspress patch, production reachability, public documentation, and Changesets. Different-model follow-up review of the final harness/lock changes found no material merge risks.
