JD Detector

Why I Built This

As a Technical Communication graduate entering the modern job market, I wanted to better understand how employers structure technical job descriptions and which skills appear most frequently across technical documentation, developer documentation, and UX-focused communication roles.

This project also helped me strengthen my experience with:

  • technical problem-solving
  • documentation thinking
  • frontend development fundamentals
  • deployment workflows
  • and user-focused tool design.

Future Improvements

  • AI-assisted keyword analysis
  • Resume-to-job-description matching
  • Skills gap recommendations
  • Exportable reports
  • Improved data visualization
