Basically it makes a markdown version of the documentation accessible.
llms.txtis the entry point and other pages can be loaded as md by appending.mdto a page-url.As of now the advantages are a bit dubious because the standard isn't widely adopted and for gh pages it's not possible to handle
Accept: text/markdown(cc sends this) but it should generally make the documentation a bit easier for LLMs to digest (if they discover this).That being said a few larger project have adopted this.
Some implementations also put links to the llm-version into the footer or add copy-page-as-md buttons.
