Some small success. The timer program has been turned into a function; now that the carriage return has been successfully integrated, and the timer has been modified successfully as a function, the next steps include:

1. Telegraphing durational input from activity scheduling to timer (timer invokes amount of time given for activity)
2. Timer for first and each subsequent activity does not start until each activity is invoked in program ('Press enter to start activity'....)
