What and why

An agent asked to set up SESKit has only the copy-paste brief, which covers a fresh deploy and stops. This adds a docs page for an installable agent skill that covers setting up from scratch, connecting AWS, sending from an app, and upgrading and fixing a running instance, including the mistakes that cannot be undone, such as putting an AWS key in .env or changing SECRET_KEY.

The skill itself lives in its own repository, https://github.com/Otitodev/seskit-skill, so it installs without cloning the server. This page explains what it is and how to install it, and is added to the nav and the llms.txt index. Docs only.

Checks

  • Docs: updated, and uv run --group docs mkdocs build --strict is clean
  • The skill's install command via npx skills add has not been tested yet.

An agent asked to set up SESKit had one thing to go on, the copy-paste brief,
which covers a fresh deploy and stops. Nothing told it how to connect AWS,
send from an app, or upgrade an instance that already runs, so it guessed, and
the guesses that matter are the ones that cannot be undone: putting an AWS key
in .env, or regenerating SECRET_KEY on an instance that has stored keys.

That is now a skill, published as its own repository, Otitodev/seskit-skill,
rather than a folder here. It installs on its own, without cloning the whole
server, and a person or agent looking for it finds a repo that is only that.
The cost is that it can drift from these docs, so it is written as a summary
that links back to the page each part came from and says the docs win.

This adds the page that says what it is and how to install it, and lists it in
the nav and the llms.txt index.
