Provide a npm distribution #505

Very much as the title says, there alredy is a NPM org, see https://www.npmjs.com/package/@knight-lab/timelinejs for example.

The more I look into this repo I thought about, maybe it would be a good idea to split it apart into a JS Frontend and the backend, since I'm actually more interested in the fronend part.
