I've tested the compilation with
sw_emuandhw_emu.I've cleaned a bit the
makefilesince we had way too much boilerplate code that was now useless.My goal is twofold:
1 - Copy the exact same kernel from #14 but in CPP. This also means defining where each piece of memory go in CPP, which is way more cumbersome that in opencl.
2 - Use user-defined precision, which according to the Xilinx people is better than sliced bread.
If with this we don't see anything promising by next week I would drop this idea and find something else to do with the FPGA.
