Implements ADR-0008.

  • Engine: LocalThreadRunner wraps the vendor's InMemoryAgentRunner, persists threads to local_threads (migration 0026), and hydrates them on boot. copilot.ts, routines and handoff all use it in local mode.
  • Mac app: every CopilotKit key path is removed: credential store, Settings section, onboarding field, composer block. Onboarding's copy about where conversations are stored is asserted by tests.
  • Docs: ADR-0008, plus updates to ADR-0007, vision, roadmap and launch checklist.

Verified locally

  • Engine: format:check, lint, typecheck clean; test:ci 2247 pass / 0 fail (2270 ran, floor 400), including local-thread-runner.integration.test.ts.
  • Mac: swift build --build-tests, then swift test ×10, all green.

Not yet verified

  • A live conversation through the server on LocalThreadRunner that survives an app restart (launch checklist item 5).
  • LiveEngineTests against a real engine.

No Intelligence key was available to build or verify against, so the
engine's local mode was built out instead: LocalThreadRunner wraps the
vendor's InMemoryAgentRunner, persists threads to a local_threads table
(migration 0026), and hydrates them on boot. copilot.ts, routines and
handoff all run through it when no INTELLIGENCE_* variables are set.

The Mac app loses every path to a CopilotKit key: the credential store,
the Settings section, the onboarding field and the composer block.
Onboarding now says conversations stay on this Mac, asserted by tests.
