PopFunc v0.0.1

Initial public release of PopFunc, a BEAST 2 package for population function / demographic inference.

Compatibility

• BEAST 2.7.x
• Java 17+

Installation

Option A (recommended): Install via BEAUti → File → Manage Packages once PopFunc is available in CBAN.

Option B (manual):

1. Download the BEAST 2 package zip from Assets below.
2. Unzip into your BEAST user package folder:
   • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/BEAST/2.7/PopFunc/
   • Linux: ~/.beast/2.7/PopFunc/
   • Windows: C:\Users\<USER>\BEAST\2.7\PopFunc\
3. Restart BEAUti (if needed: File → Clear class path).

Notes

• The file to use is the BEAST 2 package zip uploaded under Assets (not the auto-generated “Source code” archives).
