Jiyu Henko · Software engineer & founder
I build software across applied AI, developer tools, automation, and customer-facing systems.
I have been programming since 2016 and doing paid technical work with customers since around 2018. In 2024, I founded Custom Mind Software Solutions, where I work from problem discovery through architecture, prototyping, implementation, and iteration.
My current focus is on how AI fits into real engineering workflows: coding agents, tool-using systems, validation, CI, operational boundaries, and the difference between a system that looks finished and one that has actually been verified.
- Agentic SDLC Reference — a small, provider-agnostic reference workflow for coding agents built around explicit context, bounded authority, evidence-based validation, and resumable execution.
- Violet — 2024 case study — an early tool-using AI assistant with browser automation, controlled local actions, persistent context, execution feedback, and human approval.
- Portfolio — selected projects, experience, and technical background.
- Custom Mind — custom software, automation, applied AI, and technical problem-solving for real client workflows.
- understanding the real problem before choosing the technology;
- making AI useful inside engineering systems, not just impressive in demos;
- keeping authority, side effects, and verification explicit;
- building simple solutions that can survive contact with real users;
- turning repeated failures into better tools and processes.
