A Tool which allows you to Launch Multiple Instances of R.E.P.O. to use with the Local Multiplayer mod by Zehs on Linux.
This tool is designed for R.E.P.O. Modders using Linux, not regular players.
- .NET 8.0+
- Gale Mod Manager and a Profile with the Local Multiplayer mod installed, enabled and configured
- Photon Engine Setup
- Go to the Photon Engine website and sign in or create an account
- Navigate to the Dashboard
- Create a new Photon Cloud application and select Pun for the Photon SDK
- Choose any name you like and click Create
- Create another Photon Cloud application and select Voice for the Photon SDK
- Choose any name you like and click Create
- Local Multiplayer mod Config file
- Open the config file. (See the Config Settings section below to find it.)
- Set
AppIdRealtimeto your Photon Pun application's App ID - Set
AppIdVoiceto your Photon Voice application's App ID
- Configure the R.E.P.O. LMP Launcher
- Make sure the Steam Root path is correct. If not, manually enter the correct path or use the Browse button
- Make sure the Proton Version is set to your preferred installed version (see the list of known compatibles)
- Make sure the Game Exe path is correct. If not, manually enter the correct path or use the Browse button
- Make sure Selected Profile is the profile with the Local Multiplayer mod installed and enabled
- Launch the Profile
If everything is set up correctly, you can now press the Launch Profile button to start the Gale profile. This will launch 2 instances by default if AUTO Launch is enabled
You can always launch another instance using the Launch Extra Instance button, which will appear once at least one instance is running
You must launch the game at least once with the mod installed for the config file to be generated
This mod uses a global config file so you don't have to configure your settings for every modpack, and to prevent your Photon App IDs from being included in profile codes
