Update: Metadata and Data Folder clean-up

URL when enabled: /faqs/

  • Updated metadata for announcements on IDM
  • Updated metadata for FAQS, /faqs:
    • Disabled by default, send redesign of IDM
    • Turned on feature while updating it, re-disabled it when finished
    • Updated code and metadata, code was incomplete and metadata not updated
    • The faqs page was displaying demo copy, updated demo copy with instructions on using FAQ page when turned on.
    • added a few must have features:
      • formatted Heading to display question more clearly
      • able to add one or multiple tags in faqs.yml for each question
      • more information button for linking to solutions: (WIP)
      • formatted text in body of answer better.

Note: This feature was disabled by default, and was left incomplete after redesign of IDM. I enabled this feature during development, updated it to a working page, then disabled it again after making updates.

This feature now can be turned on, and farther developed into a working faqs section of the site with low LOE and development.

This is part of clean-up needed in the _data folder, farther updates will be added to the weekly update repo for this week. I broke these updates out so I we could find them later.
