Python 3.10 reaches its end of life in October 2026 and gets no more security fixes. This drops it:
pyproject.toml:requires-python = ">=3.11", no 3.10 classifier, rufftarget-version = "py311"pip respects
requires-python, so users still on Python 3.10 automatically get the last fdsreader release that supports it; nothing breaks for them.With the ruff target
py311,fdsreader/only needsdatetime.UTCinstead oftimezone.utc(UP017); other syntax upgrades are left out to keep this change small.datetime.fromisoformatonly accepts from Python 3.11 on (Z,+0100,+01) are no longer skipped.Draft: to be merged shortly before the next release.
