Environment
Reproduction (synthetic, public-safe)
Expected
The background watcher detects the committed create and re-indexes incrementally within its poll bound.
Actual
No pickup after 120s. A manual \index_repository\ re-run indexes the new file immediately, so parsing is fine — only the watch trigger misses.
