We have connected Hercules to mixingcut (my max cut sdp solver) and Hercules got a rather massive bump in capabilities from the tighter relaxations from SDP instead of QP.
We have end to end solve tests, running on all bqp50 and bqp100 problems, with some problems from the GKA set and the W set.
