LinearReader is a mod that reduces the size of your worlds by changing the way Minecraft stores chunks. This wiki will explain how LinearReader does so, and how to best maximize your storage with this mod. It provides in depth explanations, but has also been designed in a way that information can be found quickly.

Warning

LinearReader changes how chunks are saved. Corruption and data loss may occur due to bugs or improper shutdowns, especially when adding LinearReader to existing worlds. Make a backup of any and all region files before adding LinearReader to your worlds.
