[FEATURE REQ] MCP Server support

Please describe the feature.

Hi all,

we are going to use APIOps in a scenario that is basically only about MCP servers, and having direct support in the tooling system would be much appreciated.

Any hints on a timeline?

Hi Alessio Mannelli (MS) (@alexinuk) , APIM MCP support is currently in preview. We will take a look once it's in GA.

For added context, ApiOps relies on the APIM REST API. The Azure portal uses /apis/apiname?2024-06-01-preview when creating MCP servers, but there's no documentation for that version (2024-06-01-preview) of apis. I don't see a documented REST API that includes MCP support.

Thanks guythetechie - I was hoping to be ready to go live as soon as APIM would GA'ed MCP Support, but I guess I will need to wait then

Please switch the using the new tool, which will replace APiops. The link to the new tool is on the landing page of the this repo.

Wael Kdouh (@waelkdouh) the apiops-cli is still in alpha, is there a timeline to GA this product? we cannot use any alpha software in production.
