A top-down 2D escape game made in Unity using C# for a course project at HTW Berlin, Germany. 🎮
You wake up in the middle of a maze. All you have is a map and a torch that won't last long... But don’t panic! You’ll find a limited number of torches on your way to stay illuminated. It’s important to keep the torch alive. 🔥 Use the map to track your location and unlock the paths you’ve already walked through.
Your goal is to find the hidden hatch before your torch burns down to escape this eerie maze. Because that is not the only danger, you can feel that there is something lingering in the dark, waiting for you. When it comes closer, hide behind the stones and wait that the coast is clear.
The pre-release can be downloaded here(Latest version: Version 1.0.0).

During our first big brainstorming session, we each came up with concepts for what we want to do - drawing inspiration from our favourite games/series/films and breaking it down to what we could achieve together in a few months. Starting from the generation of the maze, we continuously kept on implementing new features from our shared ideas.
Originally, we wanted to make a turn based game set on a great meadow, with not quite so many horror features - but we ended up creating a game which would exceed our own expectations of what we can achieve.
