Ashvanth11/README.md

Hi, I'm Ashvanth 👋

I'm pursuing an MS in Applied Data Science at USC Viterbi, graduating in December 2026. My work spans AI/ML, software engineering, and data science, from developing models to building the APIs, data pipelines, and evaluations around them.

Featured projects

An AI agent that investigates claims about GitHub repositories. It reads source code, gathers evidence, and runs isolated Docker experiments when a claim needs testing. Each investigation reports a verdict with its supporting evidence and limitations. A weekly pipeline also finds promising AI repositories and publishes selected investigations.

A patient education assistant that answers questions using NIH medical guidelines. It retrieves relevant guidance, includes source citations, and uses a confidence gate to limit unsupported answers. The project includes a multi-turn Streamlit interface for exploring answers and their sources.

I work primarily in Python and enjoy building systems that connect research ideas to practical workflows.

Let's connect

I'm looking for full-time AI/ML engineering, software engineering, and data science roles starting in early 2027. If you're hiring or want to discuss a project, reach out on LinkedIn or email me at arathina@usc.edu.
