Splice as the system of record for footage made with video models (Seedance through Higgsfield, driven by an assistant), and for any shoot.

  • Bible: characters, places, things and the look, with pictures and continuity words, as a second page of the Story view.
  • Cast: faces on each beat card, and a sheet to choose who and what is in a beat.
  • Takes: footage tried for a beat, with where it came from; pending takes show while they're made; only clips a take laid in are ever replaced; one undo step per landing.
  • Briefs: story brief and the Brief button: references ranked and capped at five, written out with the frames around the beat, and an outline in the order video models read best.
  • Stretch export: export --from/--to | --clip | --beat, cut from the movie as drawn.
  • Crop: inspector section and look --crop-*; the picture keeps its scale and what remains stays put.
  • Skill and README document the Seedance workflow.

An adversarial review's P0/P1 findings are fixed and re-checked in the app.

Splice becomes the system of record for footage made with video models
(Seedance through Higgsfield, driven by an assistant), and for any shoot:

- Bible: characters, places, things and the movie's look, each with
pictures (the first is its face) and the words that must not change.
A second page of the Story view, built like the board.
- Cast: beats name who and what is in them; faces on each beat card and
  a sheet to choose them.
- Takes: footage tried for a beat with where it came from (tool, model,
mode, prompt, references, job). Pending takes show while they are
made; landing, choosing and removing touch only the clips takes laid
in, in one undo step; extensions can skip their seam frames.
- Briefs: everything to make a beat's footage, its references ranked,
capped at five and written out with the frames around the beat, and
an outline written the way video models read best. The Brief button
copies it and shows the references in Finder.
- Export a stretch (--from/--to, a clip, a beat), cut from the movie as
  drawn so motion matches.
- Crop: cut any edge of a picture; it keeps its scale and what remains
stays in place, in the viewer and in export.

An adversarial review's findings are addressed (takes deleting other
beats' footage, failed imports leaving takes pending, stretch exports
replaying entrances, brief ordering and limits, and the layout of the
bible, cast sheet and takes).
