I'm making this really only for playing with my friends, but in case it's desired elsewhere, I'm sharing my changes as a draft. No clue how to use KubeJS or the FTB Quest system, so I've just made my best attempt.

Hex Casting for 1.21 has not released yet, and isn't stable, and likely won't be any time relatively soon. However, my friends and I are okay with using alpha versions, and one of my friends wanted a quest tree. I saw Hex Casting was included in ATM7 and ATM8 but without quests, so I tried to include my own.

On top of this is a mod I've made locally, AllTheHexCasting: the current textures are effectively stolen from Hex Casting + Allthemodium, so I don't want to make it public without either getting the proper permission or drawing textures from scratch first.

AllTheHexCasting makes the following changes:

  • new overpowered media items like quenched allay shards but flaying allays into allthemodium, UV alloy, and piglich heart blocks respectively
  • changes the recipe for Artifacts to require Allthemodium, Spellbooks to require Unobtainium, and Akashic Ligatures/Bookshelves to require UV alloy
  • adds an Allthemodium Lens which doubles the casting grid size

None of it has been balanced with any thought (again really only made it with the intent of playing with my friends), but if there's desire for it & I can receive some guidance wrt changes, I would be overjoyed to polish things up 🙇
