Should we disclaimer sensitive content? That is the question.
History is very important. With that, it becomes important not to censor history, even if it may be wrong. It's good to show these in their context so we may never make the same mistakes that they have. Many companies have started going this route such as Disney who may still push a show or movie onto Disney+, with an additional disclosure of sensitive material. (Like the Muppets).
I may add a content filter to do something similar, adding a disclosure at the front of the Instagram carousel.
My current thinking on the way to do this is using OCR on a crop and see if any words are included in a sensitive words list. Some may be offensive slurs such as the n-word or anything relating to current controversial topics.
Another way is to use basically the same way as the first option, but instead using Chronicling America's text, which is its own OCR. Though this would flag the whole page rather than what's in the post.
