26.0.5 broked ui for greek letters and symbols.

My system updated today and I noticed that ui broked. Greek Letters and Symbos tools aren't resizing or displaying correct.

You were using wxMaxima 26.05.0 (I assume) on an older Ubuntu version and upgraded your system to Ubuntu 26.04? (on both systems a self compiled wxMaxima)?

Maybe an issue with Wayland and wxWidgets? To solve your problem fast: Does it work with the XWayland compatibility layer (should be installed by default) and setting the environment variable GDK_BACKEND=x11 - as recommend on https://github.com/wxMaxima-developers/wxmaxima?

Don't know, if it is a wxWidgets (the framework we use) issue or if we are doing something wrong...

Hello. Good evening.
I just installed it by gnome software, from flathub. As a flatpak, I dont know if I set this variable wil work.

Put it in laucher, but I think it doesnt worked.

The ubuntu version Im running is a fresh instalation. I think the issue is the update, because the prior version was working as expected.
