The WM docs need to be updated with (at least) an initial build and run section for CATChem. Adding the WM docs will likely require updates to the existing CATChem documentation. Some content suggestions:
- Links to CATChem’s existing documentation describing configuration file structures
- Any copying or modifications required to reproduce the WM regression test mimicking GEFS aerosols (GOCART)
- A high-level overview of required input fields and data files
- A high-level overview of interesting diagnostic outputs
- Link to CATChem’s documentation for how to create new/edit existing/add processes
- WM documentation should always link to the correct CATChem documentation version. This might be off the first time, but in the idealized future, it would be good to have the tagged CATChem release always include updated documentation. It’s best to avoid staggering dev and doc commits.
- Any known limitations. This could be a link to CATChem’s docs.
