If you enable Restore open timelines at startup, with your home timeline position being at, say, the third newest post, and instantly reopen Fedra, the position will still be at the third newest post.
If you have an active home timeline, though, and overnight the home timeline gains more than 40 new posts, Fedra won't move to the position where you stopped reading, because it doesn't automatically load more posts until it finds your previous position.
I think this should at least be an opt-in feature.
