Fedra not refreshing my timelines

I use a Mastodon compatible server (iceshrimp.net), that doesn't support the streaming API. Unfortunately, this seems to mean that Fedra never pulls new posts into the home timeline unless I manually refresh. This used to work? It's possible there's an option I'm missing somewhere to schedule refreshes?

Oh dear, we made some changes to make mastodon.social and the like stream, but maybe it broke this. Still happens with latest main?

I'm afraid so. Based on my testing across a couple servers, refresh seems to be broken on any server that doesn't support the streaming API. As of main updated at 7 AM EST this morning.

Just wanted to add that it also doesn't work on Gotosical instances, although not sure if GTS supports the streaming API or not.
Have to manually pull in new posts with f5.
