White bar visible at the top when in fullscreen

Description

When switching Macterm to fullscreen, a solid white bar appears along the top edge of the screen. This overlay remains persistent and obscures the top portion of the interface. I have attached a screenshot demonstrating the issue where the white bar is clearly visible against the dark theme background.

Steps to reproduce

1. Launch Macterm.
2. Enter Fullscreen mode (e.g., via the green traffic light button or keyboard shortcut).
3. Observe the top edge of the screen.

Expected behavior

The app should occupy the entire screen seamlessly without any graphical artifacts or white bars at the top.

@hujunfeng Thanks for reporting. This has been bugging me as well, and I see a dark-gray bar instead of white in full screen. Can I ask which color theme your mac is using? Is it in light mode?

@thdxg Yes, I'm using light mode on my Mac. I just tried dark mode, and the issue is gone. So I guess it's specific to light mode.

@hujunfeng I can reproduce this on my mac with dark mode. It might seem invisible on your end because of the color scheme you're using.

This seems like a macOS 26 regression in how NSToolbarFullScreenWindow composites with SwiftUI's NavigationSplitView sidebar. I spent a long session trying many fixes but none worked cleanly. Leaving this open. If anyone knows the right approach, please comment.

Interesting update on macOS 27 Developer Beta. The new OS removed rounded sidebars, and went back to the similar look as pre-tahoe. So now the titlebar doesn't look as disconnected as before, even though the color override is still happening. Some screenshots:
