From 91f41443ea42d5074a5d003b5c8d1dacc7a8da9f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: "Chris St. Pierre" Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2026 07:46:57 -0500 Subject: [PATCH] Always use the SDK's Go version in SDK compat check The current stable go is 1.27, which writes export data version 5. But the current SDK release uses some older tooling that doesn't support export data version 5, only 4. (This has been fixed in https://github.com/temporalio/sdk-go/pull/2668, but no new release has been made yet.) This fix will avoid all future iterations of this problem by always using the SDK's go version, not just blindly grabbing stable and hoping for compatibility. --- .github/workflows/check-sdk-compat.yml | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/.github/workflows/check-sdk-compat.yml b/.github/workflows/check-sdk-compat.yml index 54aa28a46..8ab7f8376 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/check-sdk-compat.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/check-sdk-compat.yml @@ -54,7 +54,7 @@ jobs: - name: Setup Go uses: actions/setup-go@40f1582b2485089dde7abd97c1529aa768e1baff # v5.6.0 with: - go-version: stable + go-version-file: go.mod - name: Update api-go env:
