Double free bugs.....

I am using Tectonic for my rust application, specially for the web version...found binary was trying to free memory that was already freed...waiting for your fix....will soon provide more info...

and then (because of valgrind) I get the the pdf.

Without valgrind, it just prints

Arch user here. I was experiencing the same issue with tectonic-0.16.9-1. Latest commits seem to fix it, because the momment I switched to tectonic-git I got no issue besides:

➜  ~ tectonic -X compile <my_file>.tex --synctex --keep-logs --keep-intermediates
note: "version 2" Tectonic command-line interface activated
note: generating format "latex"
error: cannot write format file texput.fmt
caused by: No such file or directory (os error 2) at path "/home/xou/.cache/tectonic/formats/format_Esg58T"

which was simply solve once I did:

mkdir -p ~/.cache/tectonic/formats

I suspect this is the same as #1359 - just needs a release.
