StemDeck UI Scaling in Windows #585

Thanks for describing the setup. A 150 inch screen at 250 percent is not a case I would have thought to test, and the horizontal scroll bar you are hitting is a real problem rather than a preference. Two related things have landed since you posted. The window can no longer demand a minimum larger than the screen can show, which was a separate bug at high scaling. And the footer strip now collapses progressively as space runs out, dropping labels before it lets anything overflow. Neither is what you actually asked for, and your suggestion is the better fix. Folding the click track multiplier and the global key into popovers, the way the time signature button already works, decongests the strip properly instead of compressing it. The pattern exists in the app, so it is a question of applying it rather than inventing anything. Keeping this open for that. If the scroll bar is still appearing for you on the current build, tell me and I will raise its priority. |

Uh oh!

My scenario is where I have my compute connected to a large screen (150"). As such I have to keep Windows display setting to 250% scale so Windows elements are readable from a distance.
StemDeck UI scales just file but the bottom half has so many items that it introduces a horizontal scroll bar. Functionaly good implementation but screws up my usability when I have to move the scroll bar every time.
Here's my suggestion to decongest the lower section of the UI
