Optimizing cuda backend

I am not a cuda programmer but I do know how to use Claude Code. I asked Claude to analyzse and optimize the cuda backend using Opus 4.8. In the one scene (drape) I tried, I got over 2x speedup on my Geforce RTX 3090. Here's the summary of what Claude did. I assume this is probably something you might want to try yourself but I'll be happy to share the code if you'd like to see it.
