We currently only store the minimum required information in NXcanSAS files. But we can write a lot more metadata similarly to how we do that in CIF, orso, and SQW files. The generic NeXus workflow already provides most of what we need. So this is just a matter of serialising the models to NeXus.
This may need / benefit from some changes in ScippNeXus.
