Processing plugin

The readme for this project states that this project is:

"No longer in development due to funded OpenLog development by Oslandia"
But I see that you are continuing to maintain this plugin, which is really good news.
I would like to use some of the code to create a processing plugin, to further automate the creation of sections and add some styling to the layers. The plugin will point to a GeoPackage source created from AGS data so the data will be in known layers and fields.
Is that OK?
I see that there is another issue wrt a processing plugin, but the outcome is unclear.

Hi, I haven't had time to add many new features to Geoscience, but still fix issues if they arise and keep it up to date. I'm working on a full 3D geospatial visualisation application called Spatial Integration if you are interested in 3D (see link in signature). There has been a request to make Geoscience a processing plugin. I'm supportive, but I don't have time myself. If you want to add Processing capability then I'm very happy to take a PR. Is it possible with the project you have in mind to create general Processing capability for everyone, then more specific styling etc for AGS data? I'm just thinking that it would be better to maintain a single code base with multiple people adding features than to fork some code into another project. If you feel that you need to create a new plugin then I don't mind you using some of my code - thanks for asking. Please just include a link back to Geoscience.
