Unavailable Layer! Layer Data Source Could Not Be Found

Using both QGIS 3.4 and New Version 4.0

Yesterday, the Geoscience - De-Survey tool worked perfectly (as always). Today, without changing any settings, I am getting an Unavailable Layer! message for both the _3D and _Desurvey layers. It doesnt appear to be creating a file in the linked file pathway anymore?

Not sure what has changed. Have tried using older files which worked yesterday, same issue.

I am working off my own onedrive file structure which I have always used?

Hi,

Geoscience for QGIS 3 hasn't been updated for a long time, so if you also didn't upgrade QGIS then nothing on the software side has changed. My guess is that it is problem accessing the file on your local file system. Some things to check:

• Does your path include any non-english characters (not sure if this matters)?
• Is your OneDrive a mapped drive with a drive letter (not sure if this matters either)?

The first test would be to try your files on a normal local hard disk with a file path with no spaces or non-english characters, then try to find the real problem from there.

Turns out I had a / in one of my csv files (in the header of a table) which was preventing a .gpkg file to be produced when desurveying the point file.
