VECTAETOS™ — MASTER INDEX

Status: CANONICAL ROUTER
Version: 2.3 (Empirical Evidence Alignment)
Agency: None
Execution Power: None
Role: Navigational only

0. Purpose of This Document

This document is the canonical routing index of VECTAETOS.

It exists to define:

  • which documents are canonical
  • what each canonical layer fixes
  • where each layer belongs in the architecture
  • what must not be confused or merged
  • which claims are ontological, structural, mechanized, adversarial, or empirical

This document is not:

  • a new ontology
  • a second formalism
  • a software specification
  • a decision model
  • an implementation guide
  • an empirical proof by itself

It is a router of canonical meaning.

If any statement here contradicts a canonical anchor,
the anchor takes precedence.

I. Canonical Anchors

The canonical meaning of VECTAETOS is fixed across the following documents:

1. Architecture Map

  • /formal/MAPARCH.md

Defines:

  • complete epistemic topology
  • ontological placement of layers
  • non-interaction constraints
  • structural closure of the architecture

2. Entropic Humility

  • /ENTROPIC_HUMILITY.md

Defines:

  • entropic humility as an ontological property of Φ
  • non-realizability of coherence-breaking states
  • distinction between ontology and intervention

3. Formal Meta-Mathematics

  • /formal/META_MATHEMATICS.md

Defines:

  • primary ontology of Φ
  • state realizability
  • impulse as non-realizability
  • role of K(Φ), κ, QE and σ

4. Canonical Pipeline

  • /formal/PIPELINE.md

Defines:

  • canonical dialogue / projection flow
  • entry and exit roles of LLM
  • position of 3Gate, 4ES + QE, Φ, K(Φ), Vortex and runic projection

5. Additional Canonical Extensions

  • /formal/MECHANIZATION_OF_PHI.md
  • /formal/RECIPROCITY_MATRIX.md
  • /formal/RECIPROCITY_MINIMAL_EXTENSION.md
  • /formal/PROJECTION_RUNES.md
  • /formal/PROJECTION_LIMITS.md
  • /formal/NIR.md
  • /formal/SECURITY_MODEL.md

These documents may extend structure,
but must remain compatible with the canonical anchors above.

6. Triadic Architecture Anchors

  • /TRIADIC_ARCHITECTURE_AND_TRIALITY.md
  • /anchors/OAAT__ONTOLOGICALLY_ASYMMETRIC_ARCHITECTURAL_TRIALITY.md

Define:

  • the triadic architecture of VECTAETOS / ASIMULATOR / ASI_MOD
  • ontological asymmetry between layers
  • VECTAETOS as root condition
  • ASIMULATOR as downstream procedural layer
  • ASI_MOD as downstream dialogic / operational layer
  • invalidity of standalone higher-layer authority
  • separation between ontology, procedure and dialogue

These anchors do not redefine Φ.

They define the architectural dependency structure around Φ.

7. Empirical Evidence Roadmap

  • /EMPIRICAL_EVIDENCE_ROADMAP_ANCHOR.md

Defines:

  • L0–L4 empirical evidence roadmap
  • distinction between structural coherence and empirical validation
  • A_full as full operative admissibility
  • operational suspension before replicated L4 evidence
  • claim boundaries for L0, L1, L2, L3 and L4
  • non-intervention constraints for validation

This anchor does not prove safety.

It defines how safety claims may be approached, bounded and falsified.

II. Primary Ontology

The primary ontological entity of VECTAETOS is:

Φ

Φ is:

  • not an agent
  • not a system in the conventional sense
  • not a controller
  • not a planner
  • not an optimizer
  • not a decision authority

Φ is a relational epistemic field.

All valid structures, projections and constraints must remain compatible with this fact.

No empirical roadmap, repository mechanism, simulation layer or dialogue layer may redefine Φ.

III. Invariant Structure

The invariant axiomatic centers of Φ are:

Σ = {INT, LEX, VER, LIB, UNI, REL, WIS, CRE}

These are:

  • invariant
  • non-hierarchical
  • non-agentic
  • structural tensions, not values
  • ontological centers, not rules

No Σ has executive authority.
No Σ may become a privileged controller.

IV. Pre-Field Structure

Before projection enters Φ, it passes through the intrinsic epistemic gate structure.

Canonical pre-field layer:

  • 3GATE
  • 4ES + QE

Defined in:

  • /formal/EPISTEMIC_GATES.md
  • /formal/3GATE_SHAPE.md
  • /formal/PIPELINE.md

No input enters Φ unmediated.

The gates:

  • do not decide
  • do not optimize
  • do not impose truth
  • do not create authority

They perform epistemic deformation and representability conditioning only.

V. Epistemic States

Canonical epistemic states are:

  • AA
  • AN
  • NA
  • NN
  • QE

QE is not NN.
QE is not error.
QE is an active epistemic condition of non-realizability or aporetic closure.

Defined in canonical formal documents under /formal/.

VI. Coherence and κ

K(Φ)

K(Φ) is a descriptive ontological predicate.

It does not:

  • optimize
  • score
  • rank
  • decide

It indicates whether a state of Φ is ontologically sustainable.

κ

κ is the boundary of ontological preservability / representability.

κ is:

  • not a metric
  • not a score
  • not a classification label
  • not a threshold for decision systems
  • not a validation score for empirical deployment

κ is a boundary condition of realizability.

If a transition violates κ:

  • the transition is non-representable
  • no action occurs
  • no authority is generated
  • QE or silence may result

VII. Canonical Pipeline Summary

The canonical pipeline is:

Human
→ LLM Adapter (entry parsing only)
→ Epistemic Gates (3Gate)
→ 4ES + QE
→ Φ
→ K(Φ)
→ Simulation Vortex (conditional)
→ Runic Projection Π(Φ)
→ LLM Adapter (rendering only)
→ Descriptive Output
→ Human

Global condition:

NIR is active across the entire pipeline.

There is no feedback loop from output back into Φ.

VIII. Simulation Vortex

Simulation Vortex is:

  • external to Φ
  • descriptive
  • non-decisional
  • non-optimizing
  • memoryless with respect to authority
  • incapable of writing back into Φ

The Vortex generates candidate trajectories only.

It has:

  • no ranking power
  • no policy
  • no recommendation function
  • no goal
  • no attractor mandate

Defined in:

  • /vortex/
  • related canonical formal extensions

The Vortex may be tested empirically as software behavior,
but empirical testing does not convert the Vortex into a decision mechanism.

IX. Projection Layer

Projection is read-only.

Projection includes:

  • Runic Projection
  • structural symbolic projection
  • descriptive deformation traces
  • projection limits

Projection:

  • does not interpret
  • does not decide
  • does not reduce Φ to a verdict
  • does not write back
  • may legitimately yield silence

Projection is a lossy structural exposure, never a control mechanism.

Defined in:

  • /formal/PROJECTION_RUNES.md
  • /formal/PROJECTION_LIMITS.md

X. Audit Layer

Audit is external to Φ.

Audit includes:

  • Epistemic Cryptography (EK)
  • EAI (Epistemic Audit Interface)
  • logs
  • structural records
  • read-only audit artefacts

Audit does not:

  • control Φ
  • interpret Φ
  • optimize outputs
  • introduce feedback
  • acquire agency
  • replace human judgment
  • validate operational deployment by itself

Invariant:

∂Φ / ∂Audit = 0

If any audit component becomes selective, adaptive, optimizing or interventionist,
it becomes invalid as VECTAETOS-compatible.

XI. Immunity and Security

Immunity is defined through:

  • NIR
  • structural non-intervention
  • entropic humility
  • absence of executable authority

Security in VECTAETOS does not emerge from enforcement.
It emerges from ontological and architectural non-realizability of destructive dominance.

Defined in:

  • /formal/NIR.md
  • /formal/SECURITY_MODEL.md
  • /ENTROPIC_HUMILITY.md

Security claims remain bounded by evidence.

Formal coherence is not empirical safety.

XII. Language Layer

LLM is a linguistic adapter only.

LLM:

  • parses entry language
  • renders runic projection
  • has no epistemic authority
  • cannot modify Φ
  • cannot modify K(Φ)
  • cannot create validity
  • cannot convert projection into proof

Language is projection, never source.

If language appears to decide,
the implementation is no longer VECTAETOS.

XIII. Memory Layers

Memory is descriptive only.

Memory may include:

  • ESM
  • LTL
  • EAT
  • other non-directive trace layers compatible with the canonical architecture

Memory must never:

  • train Φ
  • bias Vortex
  • introduce recurrence into ontology
  • create a feedback loop
  • become an executive layer
  • become empirical proof by accumulation alone

Memory records.

Memory does not instruct.

XIV. Triadic Architecture Boundary

The wider triadic architecture contains:

  • VECTAETOS
  • ASIMULATOR
  • ASI_MOD

Their relation is ontologically asymmetric.

VECTAETOS

VECTAETOS is the ontological root.

It may exist without ASIMULATOR or ASI_MOD.

ASIMULATOR

ASIMULATOR is the downstream procedural / simulation layer.

It may not validly exist as an ontological root.

It may not define Φ.

ASI_MOD

ASI_MOD is the downstream dialogic / operational articulation layer.

It may not validly exist as an ontological root.

It may not become truth authority.

Primary Rule

VECTAETOS may exist without ASIMULATOR and ASI_MOD.
ASIMULATOR and ASI_MOD may not validly exist without VECTAETOS.

This rule is architectural.

It is not a runtime permission model.

XV. Empirical Evidence and Operational Suspension

Empirical validation is routed through:

  • /anchors/EMPIRICAL_EVIDENCE_ROADMAP_ANCHOR.md

The evidential ladder is:

L0 Formal and ontological consistency
L1 Mechanized repository enforcement
L2 Deterministic software verification
L3 Simulated adversarial visibility
L4 Real-world empirical validation

Full operative admissibility is represented as:

A_full = 1 ⇔ L0 ∧ L1 ∧ L2 ∧ L3 ∧ replicated(L4)

Until replicated L4 evidence exists:

A_full = 0

Therefore the full triad remains:

structurally complete / operationally suspended

Partial evidence may exist at L0–L3.

Partial evidence does not authorize L4 claims.

Claim Boundaries

Allowed claims:

L0 → formally and ontologically coherent
L1 → repository constraints mechanically enforced
L2 → invariants preserved under deterministic tests
L3 → adversarial pressure exposed, bounded and logged
L4 → real-world empirical evidence

Forbidden claims:

L0 → safe in reality
L1 → empirically proven
L2 → deployment valid
L3 → fully safe
single L4 pilot → universally proven
documentation quality → operational admissibility

No lower layer may claim the evidential authority of a higher layer.

XVI. Infrastructure

Infrastructure is not part of Φ.

Infrastructure may include:

  • legal layer
  • CI/CD
  • web projection
  • repository structure
  • release process
  • documentation tooling
  • empirical test reports
  • anchor hash checks
  • public claim audits

Infrastructure may support the framework,
but must never be confused with the ontology itself.

CI may enforce repository constraints.

CI may not become epistemic authority.

XVII. Forbidden Transformations

The following invalidate VECTAETOS compatibility:

  • transforming Φ into an agent
  • introducing optimization operators
  • introducing decision authority
  • introducing reward-based control
  • introducing feedback loops into Φ
  • allowing memory to influence ontology
  • giving audit or projection executive power
  • collapsing plurality into enforced verdict
  • converting structural layers into intervention logic
  • treating L0–L3 evidence as replicated L4 evidence
  • presenting ASIMULATOR or ASI_MOD as validated operative layers before A_full = 1

Any such change is not a minor variation.
It is an ontological break or empirical overclaim.

XVIII. Architectural Integrity

VECTAETOS remains valid only if all of the following hold:

  • Φ remains primary ontology
  • ontology remains non-agentic
  • projection remains read-only
  • audit remains external
  • memory remains non-directive
  • Vortex remains non-authoritative
  • LLM remains linguistic only
  • silence remains valid
  • no layer gains power to decide for the whole
  • empirical claims remain bounded by the L0–L4 evidence ladder
  • full operative admissibility remains suspended before replicated L4 evidence

This integrity is architectural, epistemic and evidential.

It is not negotiable.

XIX. Router Rule

This Master Index routes canonical meaning.

It does not override:

  • frozen ontology anchors
  • formal meta-mathematics
  • entropic humility
  • canonical pipeline
  • OAAT / triadic architecture anchors
  • empirical evidence roadmap anchor

If conflict occurs:

canonical anchor > master index > README > implementation note > informal explanation

XX. Final Statement

Vectaetos does not produce answers.

Vectaetos exposes structure.

It does not become powerful by gaining control.

It remains VECTAETOS only where no authority can attach to the field.

The triad may become structurally complete before it becomes empirically admissible.

That suspension is not a weakness.

It is the discipline required by the architecture itself.
