As I'm not familiar with the code base, I don't want to go around removing things that might be missed down the track, and the issue seems a bit too prolific for the standard _ prefix.

Unused code here is likely stuff that Palace/Claude half implemented.

It's normally a "kill it" situation, but in this case we should leave it for study.

My plan with the codebase is to focus on warnings once we reach a "real v1.0.0" situation.

We're not actually shipping a v1.0.0 yet in practice (semver makes it a bad idea while the API is heavily in flux), buuuut... imagine I just mean "a prod release".

Once we hit prod beta, warnings become much more important, for now they're informative noise.
