@CyanoFresh Create react app doesn't include prettier or specify a prettier version. Prettier does maintain a changelog though, you can find it here: https://github.com/prettier/prettier/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md |

I saw some lines in the eslint cra config changelog mentioning prettier setup. So Prettier is tied with eslint config. Of course, something was changed in eslint config, not in the prettier config. This strange behavior appears only after upgrading to cra v4, using same latest version of prettier in cra v3.* doesn't have this behavior |

There doesn't appear to be a not in the changelog, https://github.com/facebook/create-react-app/releases/tag/v4.0.0 CRA uses prettier internally, and that was updated (#9857), but that doesn't affect your project. |
Could you provide a pair of examples: a package.json and a jsx file with CRA 3 and Prettier that doesn't update, and package.json with CRA 4 and the same version of Prettier and the same JSX file that now does update? |

@CyanoFresh Create react app doesn't include prettier or specify a prettier version.
Prettier is installed independently https://create-react-app.dev/docs/setting-up-your-editor/#formatting-code-automatically and the version is specified by the adopter (you), so it isn't a part of CRA's changelog, because it isn't a part of CRA.
Prettier does maintain a changelog though, you can find it here: https://github.com/prettier/prettier/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md
