Alternative paths

Is it possible to specify an alternate path to database?

For example, if you have a central Vault, with multiple groups and you want too separate/organize the database connections into different sub-paths say stores_database vs warehouse_database vs somegroup_database.

So is there already a means of overriding the default paths with custom paths?
If not already, could it be added?
