Problem installing flask-socketio and pytz

After installing dependancies, this fails:

As stated in the error message, this is an externally managed environment. You need to create a virtual environment if you want to install packages.

python -m venv .venv
source ./.venv/bin/activate
pip install <...whatever>

Ensure you have python-venv (or python3-venv) packages installed via apt.

Yes, the documentation probably needs to be updated, sorry...

If you're not planning on editing any of the code, I'd recommend the Docker install as a means of getting Chasemapper running reliably.
