What is your feature request?

Because the bandwidth is relatively low, I cannot complete the download and update within 60 seconds.

A 60MB file downloaded under a bandwidth of 5Mbps theoretically takes the following time:：
File size: 60 MB = 60 × 8 = 480 Mb (megabits)
Bandwidth: 5 Mbps (Megabits per second)
Time = 480 ÷ 5 = 96 seconds
That is 1 minute and 36 seconds (excluding factors such as network loss and latency).

Can you give me some more information about what you are experiencing?

I assume you're talking about the xySat (xyOps Satellite) self-upgrade process?

Is the upgrade actually failing?

Or are you just seeing a "Satellite upgrade did not complete within 60 seconds." message show up?

I need to know what to fix or make configurable exactly. There are a lot of different layers and variables at play in the self-upgrade sequence.

Also, what OS is your xySat running on? Linux, Mac or Windows?

xySat runs the Linux system (Dietpi Debian 13). System updates are performed via the "Upgrade Work Server" option in the WebUI, and it usually takes 2–3 attempts to complete the update. The xyOps traffic changes are as follows: the first download has no upload traffic, the second attempt involves direct upload, and the third is routed through Cloudflare cache, resulting in minimal traffic fluctuation.

Generally, it will succeed after two attempts; a third attempt is only needed when the network is poor.

I think you'd be most interested in option 2. Just make sure you upgrade your xySat to v1.0.31 first.
