Slow site. Eliminate some features.

Because most of the people using this site are Peace Corps Volunteers with weak internet signals, we want to eliminate any excessive features whose inclusion slow down the site. Some of the unnecessary components are:

1. Any smartphone features including push notifications.
2. Search by filters on the main page:

We want the interface to be as user-friendly as possible. Less is more!
