Basic diag for device

I want to use my v2.3 heartypatch again after a few years of sitting idle. Previously I got it to work with "Elite HRV" app on my iphone. Now the device is not detected by that app.

The charge LED goes on when it has usb power, but that red LED does not stay on for more than 30sec. Does that mean it is charged or something else?

I don't see it show up as a USB device on my macbook. Does that mean the device is broken?

The RGB LED never lights up.

Bottom line. Your electronics are probably still good... just a bad battery.

I just pulled my v2.3 out after a few years.

The Li-Po battery looked like a fat pillow. This means it has stopped working and will need a new battery. These batteries are easily replaceable but ideally will be removed and replaced using a soldering iron.

I am replacing mine with an 18650 LiFePo battery holder so I can simply replace the cells when needed.
